TikTok Follower Count
Followers, likes, videos and following for any public account. Type the username.
The numbers, and what each one is worth
- Followers is the number everyone quotes and the least informative on its own. It says how many people once tapped follow, not how many watch.
- Likes is the account's lifetime total across every video. Divided by video count it tells you far more than the follower number does.
- Videos gives you the rate of work behind the account. Two accounts at 100,000 followers, one with 80 videos and one with 3,000, are not the same account.
- Following is worth a glance. An account following tens of thousands of people usually grew by follow-for-follow, and its audience is worth less than the number suggests.
Why this is not a live counter
Some sites show a follower number ticking upward in real time. That is animation, not data: nobody has a live feed of TikTok follower counts, and the ticking is interpolation between two readings.
What you get here is the number TikTok reports right now, or the most recent one we have if we are at our lookup limit for the day. When that happens the page says so rather than showing an old number as if it were current.
Questions
How current is the number?
It is what TikTok reports at the moment of the lookup. If the page tells you it is from cache, it is a few days old at most, and it says so plainly.
Can I check a private account?
No. Private accounts do not publish their numbers to anyone who does not follow them.
Why do sites show different follower counts?
Because they read at different moments and some cache for a long time without saying so. A difference of a few thousand on a large account is normal.
Is there a real-time follower counter?
Not honestly. Any site showing a smoothly ticking number is animating between two readings, not receiving a live feed.
